Education: The Gift That Never Stops Giving
My name is Kaitlyn Roukey and I am from Epsom, NH. I am a junior studying English, secondary education, and applied linguistics at Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, VT! Next semester, I am more than thrilled to be studying at Victoria University of Wellington with the Institute for Study Abroad; this opportunity is one that I couldn’t pass up. My ultimate goal after college is to help spread positive education globally. We are so fortunate, in the United States, to have the motivation and resources necessary to teach young people incredible things about the world around them. Starting during the first years of a person’s life, they are exposed to the art of literature; not only do they know what literature is, but it is almost a given that they learn how to interact with it.
